1,000 Pageviews and a New Webkinz!

Hi everyone!

Over the 3 years and 2 months I have been on this blog, I have reached a total of 1,001 pageviews!!! I'd like to thank everyone that contributed to that number, followers and visitors alike. You guys are awesome!

I would also like to introduce my new Webkinz who came in a mysterious package from eBay on Saturday. She is a beautiful Signature Marble Cat. She has already found lots of friends, and she got to go up to Nana's on the weekend for our firework display and Decoration Day.

I'm pretty sure it's a girl, but I'm still trying to come up with a name. I was thinking Betsy Butterscotch Bewhiskered, and I haven't thought of anything better. That's probably what it will end up being, because if I have a good name and I can't come up with anything else, the name always sticks!

I'm not exactly sure who sent her to me, but I think it might be a certain Auntie M... ;)

Having An Awesome Summer!!!

I hope everyone is having a great summer!

This is what happened to me this summer so far:

First, I just finished my 6th summer of swimming. Since I am 11 now, I moved up to the 11+ group in practice this year, which also means I have to swim 50m instead of 25m in the meets. I absolutely hated it at the first meet, but I got used to it pretty quickly.

Here we are at the pool party to celebrate the beginning of the season (which actually got postponed twice due to rain):

We had our conference meet for 11+ Friday evening (the one for 10- was Saturday morning). We swam in a big 8-lane pool. I just found out this morning that we won! The end-of-season pool party (which is also when we get our conference ribbons and end-of-season awards) is usually the Sunday 2 weeks after conference, so it will most likely be on August 11.

Now for some news on the Webkinz:

In late May, Pasqually the pumpkin puppy and Daisy the petal pup got married.

 It was the first outdoor Webkinz plush wedding, so they had to watch out for the native bugs, but it was pretty nice. Mayhem (the black cat behind the stegosaurus and the other black cat) played the piano for the ceremony and Loose Strings (Emma Beleaguered, Juliet Bewhiskered, and Ashley Bewhiskered) did some bluegrass for the reception. The bride even starred in one song!

 Pasqually and Daisy took their honeymoon at a friend's house. They are a happy couple and Daisy has a baby girl due on August 13th!

Now, here are the online Webkinz (on my first account) having a great summer! Strawberry the pink poodle is diving into the CampKinz pool we won from the Marshmallow Collection in the bottom right of the screen. Caroline the dog and Emma the white poodle are enjoying the swings. Taylor and Catherine (the identical cats) are all decked out, both in the same outfit! They are all into the returning star from the Arcade, Skater Kat, so they are taking turns practicing on the skateboard so they can (both) dress up as her for Halloween.

Somebody left their hat in the pool!

 On my 2nd account is the Persian Cat, Sophia, in her new shop, Sophia's Sweet Treats!

Sophia is going to pass the shop down to her daughter, Bon Bon the Pom Pom Kitty, when she is born.

Maybe it could be called Bon Bon's Bon Bons! :P

...or maybe just Bon Bon's.

Webkinz Iditarod 3/8/13 Musher of the Day: Cobbler Cox

My Musher of the Day for March 8, 2013: Cobbler Cox with dogs Floppy and Puddles.

Cobbler joined Darling Daughter's family two Christmases ago. She recently enjoyed going on a 5-day roadtrip. She lives on top of the Bewhiskered Apartment with her friend Rocky. Her dogs, Floppy and Puddles, are brothers. Puddles is married to Purple Pup (on Car Kitty's Mother's team). Darling Daughter has owned Floppy and Puddles for a long time! Cobbler is a rookie musher, she joined because she wanted to see what competing in the Iditarod feels like and because she thought it would be fun.

My last Musher of the Day is Car Kitty's Mother, with Purple Pup and Strawberry!

     Car Kitty's Mother adores her daughter, Car Kitty, and her next-door neighbor and friend, Bently. She lives on the bottom floor of the Bewhiskered Apartment, sometimes called the basement, with all her feline friends. She and Car Kitty were a team together in 2011. Her dogs, Purple Pup and Strawberry, are great friends. Purple Pup's full name is Perfectly Pretty Purple Poodle Puppy, and she is married to Puddles (from Cobbler's team). Strawberry was on Daddoo's team in 2011. She has competed in FashionPetz since 2011.
